I’m trying to figure out a way to make a !lurk / !unlurk command that lets chat know they’re AFK or lurking when someone @s their username. Is something like this possible with Nightbot?
EX: I type “!lurk” in chat and someone else types “@josiahpittman1” in chat afterwards, it lets them know I’m currently away until I type “!unlurk”
It’s not possible for Nightbot to respond whenever a message mentions a lurking person.
Here are some alternatives:
A !lurking command that lists all the people lurking (400 character limit).
A timer that periodically lists all the people lurking (400 character limit).
A !islurking command that says whether a person is lurking.
