Emotes streamers havent added not showing

When I watch a stream, half the emotes i can see, (the emotes the streamer has added,) and the others i just see the words for, no emote. I have tried everything. Anybody have a solution?

You do not see the emotes streamers haven't added because the streamer has not added them...

Unless it's a global emote the streamer has to enable it on their channel.

To complete on what was said, if you want to use some emotes everywhere regardless of if the streamer added them to their channel, you get get Personal emotes by subscribing to BetterTTV Pro.
