Does giveaway user list retroactively update for new subscribers?

If I start a keyword giveaway for viewers and subscribers on my twitch channel (2x entries for subs), and someone enters the giveaway as a viewer by typing the keyword, and THEN they subscribe, will they be counted as a subscriber (2x entries) when a winner is chosen? At least when I did a giveaway, it did not appear to update the list (because the new subscriber did not have the subscriber badge (star icon) next to their name in the list). This has caused issues and confusion for me and my stream.

The user would need to enter into the giveaway again by sending the keyword again in order to update their entry in the giveaway.

Unfortunately that does not work I just tried with my stream. Every person who enters the giveaway before subbing does not get counted as sub. So I have to use a different random picker and manually duplicate all the sub names.

Can you clear your cache and try again the next time you stream? We've applied some improvements such that any message user sends in chat will update their entry.
