Discord nightbot no longer works

Nightbot no longer functions in discord but working fine in twitch chat.

i’ve seen that happen once… we fixed it by disconnecting from discord and reconnecting… hope that helps

Unfortunately not, because I tried doing that it still isn’t syncing everyone. I asked for the people that its not working for to check their connections but they’re good. So it must be the bot.

Having the same issue, it shows in discord when clicked info, but when /run is happening it says the application did not respond. Have disconnected and readded but still no luck

Nightbot offline in discord for weeks

Hey @risxch! Nightbot’s primary targets are streaming platforms, the service on Discord is what we call a sidecar, meaning it’s not prioritized and if something breaks it may not be fixed, it’s not meant to be used as a regular Discord bot, it’s mostly there to sync moderators and regulars. That said, when a bot goes offline, there’s nothing you can do about it, the issue isn’t on your end.

Issues will likely be fixed, but be patient, Discord support isn’t top priority.
