Default spam protection messages too offensive

I just had nightbot call a user “sewer scum” for symbol spamming. The default message must be a lot more neutral and not offensive, this was completely unexpected.

Nightbot uses mild Duke Nukem quotes as timeout messages by default. You can configure custom timeout messages at https://beta.nightbot.tv/spam_protection

Thanks for responding. I appreciate a cultural quote as much as the next guy, but a heads up somewhere in the dialog or documentation would really help avoid unnecessary bruised egos - not everyone has a sense of humour or gets the reference :slight_smile:

I’m using custom messages now, after having to deal with some blowback from the viewers…
