Death count that returns number/doesn't clog chat

I have a setup that tracks number to be accessed without increasing it, like this:

!adddeath -a=!editcom !deaths X died $(count) times.
!deaths X died 0 times.
!resetdeath -a=!commands edit !adddeath \-c=0 (not needed here but maybe someone finds it helpful)

After I add death/add counter the nightbot displays this ugly thing:

Nightbot: purrske: -> The command "!deaths" has been updated successfully.

So here are my questions:
Can I make it display the current number of deaths instead(while editing the other one)?
OR
Can I make it not return any message for this one command?
Or anything that will make it look prettier/take less space.

I'd rather have one on top, but we'll see.

The use case of using a command to edit another command is already pretty limiting on what Nightbot was initially designed to do. Nightbot will always reply to a command with a response. You can always have Nightbot manager manually edit the command in the dashboard but even that would require leaving the chat.
