I am new to NightBot and was curious if there was a way to have a chat command that would have an mp3 play from my PC or from the web. Not really sure if the song request command really fulfills this purpose.
Sadly there isn’t a built-in way to do this on Nightbot, AutoDJ is more for songrequests. It works by playing Youtube videos where it gets from people in chat requesting them. In your case no it wouldn’t fulfill your purpose. Sorry.
As Aaron said, Nightbot cannot do this feature, however, you could just play your songs via Windows Media Player (using your mp3) and this would allow the music to come through to the stream.
