Creation of mirrored versions of added emotes where the uploader is not activate anymore

In the upload rules it states you must ask for permission from the original uploader to make derivatives of an emote, specifically I want to add a mirrored version of an emote.

My problem is the user that uploaded the emote in question (the emote is kaoLick) seem to be withdrawn from his youtube, twitch and twitter 1-2 years ago. So my contact is falling for deaf ears.

Does this mean it is impossible to mirror the emote, or does it become legal at some point, like a statue of limitations kind of thing.

Sorry but we don’t consider the act of flipping an image as an original creation of an emote. The original emote owner retains all permissions unless otherwise mentioned.
