Hey,

i know that there are similar topics about this, but the latest one in regards to my question appears to be from 2016, so i thought I should better make sure again, since i dont want to run into any issues.

So, my question would be, how is the situation with copyright on the global emotes? In the topic from 2016 Nightdev said that they do not really care about global emotes, is that still the case? Because i would really like to use D: in a different context (still regarding twitch and BetterTTV, but in a 3rd party app). And i definitely dont want to infringe on anyones copyright entitlements, of course for legal but also morality issues.

Would be great if anyone knows what the situation is for that.

Thanks
(Sorry if the english isnt great, I am from germany and not a native speaker)
