Checking the count without adding to it

I want to create a swear Jar for my stream. The Goal is that anytime someone in the stream say’s a swear word someone can add it to a counter. Is there a way I can do this with nightbot?

I found a solution using the $(count) feature. But is there a way that I can check the count without adding to it?

You can use this to fulfill what your asking:

That post is very outdated as the $(alias) variable no longer exists. Here’s an updated way to do it. !commands add !addcount -ul=moderator -a=!commands edit !count This is a count $(count) !addcount will update !count by 1 (for moderators) !commands add !count This is a count 0 !count will display the current total command
