I had a problem that started today.
Every time I wrote in chat, the text was duplicated.
I found out that the “Hide My AdBlocker” addon (Chrome) is interfering with BTTV.
Have no idea why.

I mean, I don’t know why they’d break our plugin so there’s not much we can do to resolve the issue. Looking at the reviews of that extension, it appears to be malware. I’d suggest not using it.

Oh, thanks so much for the reply! I just noticed that I wasn’t the only one affected by this. So I posted up a solution.
I don’t expect it to be “Fixed”, as you are correct, everyone just needs to remove that malware. That IS the fix.
Where did you post the solution @hypertoken77 ? I have no add-ons, and also noticing “sub-only” and “slow-mode” icons showing in streams that don’t have them turned on. I don’t expect malware on my end.
The solution in my situation, was to remove the “Hide My AdBlocker” add-on from Chrome. It sounds like you are experiencing something different however similar.
