So basically i recently installed nightbot and I try to use the current song feature, it says "error: channel not registered"
I don’t understand this problem because I logged into nightbot.tv using my twitch account, it sucessfully joined the channel and says so too. What is the problem?
You must edit the settings.ini file with your channel name.
Yeah, I did that, with EpilepticRabbit and epilepticrabbit. the error still occurs. I know its not a channel recognition problem with the bot because it joined and successfully responds to song request commands etc
If you are using the beta, the old app is not compatible. Use the new app: https://docs.nightbot.tv/app-beta
