I use a cookie extension for Firefox that auto deletes indexedDB and localStorage at browser startup but this deletes the folder with betterttv’s settings. However there are folders in the storage that start with the name “moz-extension+++” (that belong to uBlock, Stylus, and some other add-on) that don’t get deleted by the cookie extension. Is there a way you can make betterttv settings use the moz-extension+++ folder so it’ll remain permanent even when you delete the localstorage?
We would need to build custom integrations for each browser then, which we don’t want to do. LocalStorage is supported universally at this point.
