BTTV Emotes not showing

Piggybacking on this one to report that only when I have the bttv extension enabled do my normal Twitch follower and sub emotes appear locked and unable to be used (intermittently.)

I thought this was a Twitch problem and reached out to their support first. Then I tried disabling BTTV, which seems to work perfectly as a toggle. Disabling bttv automatically gives me access to the previously locked emotes (for channels I'm following/subbed to, and also for some of my own Twitch emotes.) Enabling again creates issues. It's repeatable and consistent.

For me, this is a recent problem and has never happened before. Not sure if it makes a difference, but I have bttv pro.

I believe the latest release should have addressed this, but if not please let us know.

I’m also facing this issue, and I’ve heard the same from one friend. We are both Firefox users.

Hey, thanks for the reply! I don't see a new release yet. It still shows version 7.7.28 as the latest extension version, and that's the one for which I reported the bug (in GitHub after I didn't get a response here.)
Is a new release due to be released soon?
Someone seems to've written code for it on Github, but it hasn't been merged yet. Thank you 🙂
