Perhaps I’ve overlooked it, but it’d be nice if there was a way to specify alternate text for the countdown once it has 0 seconds remaining.
Something like:
$(countdown Jan 23 2016 04:00:00 PM PST | started)
Which would display “started” once it’s at 0 seconds.
Unfortunately it’s a bit too complicated to offer such customization for different cases on each variable. We do allow response formatting on some variables, but it probably won’t be possible to go this far, sorry. You’d need to utilize the urlfetch variable and create a custom API to handle this particular use-case. We’re exploring options for further versatility down the road, and do have some cool things that are planned that might make this a non-issue then.
