Hi, I've just realised that the different announce chat commands of Twitch (the ones with colors) doesn't work in Nightbot
announceblue, announcegreen, announceorange and announcepurple

A great suggestion for something to come in the future, but as of now:

Someone said:
Nightbot can only use the following Twitch commands: /me and /announce.
The others are off limits to prevent abuse.

Not sure why the /announceCOLOR commands are unavailable though, but I’d speculate it’s because either the dev wasn’t sure they’d stay, or he thought /announce was enough

I understand that protection, but now they also will implement /pin and some other chat commands that would be interesting to "authorize". Other bots like Moobot allow /announceCOLOR

The suggestion has been floating around for a little bit now so I would guess that /announceCOLOUR would be coming soon.
If /pin becomes a permanent feature it could be added as well but as of now twitch is only "experimenting a new tool with a group of randomly selected users" for /pin.
