I get to step 2/3 and nothing pops up prompting me to select a device. can’t choose one either in the browser.
phone is LG G4 if that helps!
You can only use TwitchCast from an Android device when using Chrome Beta. You can download the Beta version of Chrome in the Playstore.
is there any settings that need to be fiddled with? even on chrome beta i can’t get it to prompt me.
Since it works for me I cannot be sure what you are specifically doing wrong. If all else fails you can use the Google Cast extension on desktop Chrome, which is definitely supported.
what device & android version are you using?
