It surprises me that BetterTTV has not caught on to what YouTube is doing and that is making the “m” key the mute/unmute button. It would be great if they could add this feature and I feel like I’m not the only one who would like this.
Wouldn’t that make typing a little complicated?
The Twitch website by default focuses chat, so hotkeys without modifiers could not work due to conflictions. If you have a resolution to this dilemma, feel free to request this as a feature on Github (where feature requests should be posted).
