!addcom help - add an image/gif to a command

Hello,

I’m trying to make a command that allows for when a user runs it, it displays a gif/image.

Example:
User types !moon

To the moon!

Command:
!addcom !moon - It just displays the URL, no the gif.

I also tried to upload the gif and run the same command but the !moon command just runs the text, never the gif.

Any ideas?

You can’t post an image/gif in Twitch or Youtube’s chat, only the link.

If you are talking about in Discord, posting the link will embed the image in chat so it can be seen without having to click the link, provided Nightbot’s rank permissions allows it to do so.

Yeah, I can get that completed, but I’m trying to avoid the text, and just have the gift arrive.

That isn’t possible with Nightbot, sorry
